C25K - Week 2, Day 1



I went a bit further today.  Week 2 in the Couch to 5K program is a:

Brisk five-minute warm-up walk. Then alternate 90 seconds of jogging and two minutes of walking for a total of 20 minutes.

The podcast I'm using adds a 5 minute cool down walk at the end, for a total of 30 minutes.  And I did the whole thing!  

I feel like my gym made a good choice by facing the treadmill lane away from the childcare room.  I'm not saying that I sometimes enjoy the illusion of running away from my spawn darlings; let's just say I appreciate the feng shui.  

I'm hoping to make it to a yoga class tomorrow morning, we'll see if I have to get-up-and-go.
