Day 1

I've started my first day as a stay at home mom.  Well, technically, it turns out I stayed at home with the kids for like 2 months during the summer of 2011, but I can't remember it for the life of me.  Jack was a newborn and I was nursing 1-2 times per night and seriously, it's all a blur.  But records reflect I was indeed home with the kids for a few months before going back to work.

But, this time will be so much better.  I'm not in a postpartum haze, for one.  I don't have to stop every 45 minutes to nurse someone.  And no wild mood swings!  Jut regular person mood slides, shifts, glides.  So really, it's like a whole different kind of staying at home.

And so far so good, it's 8:50 a.m. and already everyone is up, fed, showered and dressed,  We even went for a walk/bike ride this morning!  I called Mark to tell him, and he asked if I am this productive at home, why I couldn't get out the door on time when I was working.  Lesson 1: Mark's a jerk.
